We are a group of individuals who share the philosophical view that our virtual existence and body are no less meaningful than their physical counterparts, are more accurate representation of our metaphysical constructs and believe in preserving, and promoting our way of life. The society was founded in 2017.
As a non-profit, we are a think-thank engaging in metaverse and virtual worlds advocacy, on-field researches and industry analysis to synthesize a continuously better understanding of the underlying appeals of a metaverse, various elements and intricacies that make it work, and build a cohesive, actionable visionary projection.
The society operates on multiple prongs of growth stimulation for promoting the use of virtual mediums, through corporate advocacies and partnerships, as well as virtual communities and creators-based initiatives.
As of 2021, the society has 322 members made of futurists, communicators, virtual existentialists, experts, long-time users, content creators, journalists and influencers who support our cause, and some volunteer staff members.
The society believe that a metaverse virtual world and the practice of virtual embodiment offer various unique societal, and personal benefits in the pursue of human betterment as reasoned through existential reasoning, and that complete virtual transcension is a logical eventuality.
